New gameplay for Mouse Chef: Dig Out is out there, so we can see just how our Mouse is going to cook their way out
Grab your spoon and other cooking utensils, as it’s time to see just how we’re going to be escaping our prison in Mouse Chef: Dig Out. This would be the next title that Paiband Game Studio is cooking up for us on the PC, and it looks like there is much more going on than the title or we thought in the game. As long as you are in for a cooking simulation game that also adds in a prison break scenario. Yeah, a lot is going on in Mouse Chef: Dig Out, and now we have a look at some of the solid gameplay that we can expect to have in the game. Especially after seeing what was teased a few months ago, and many might have missed it before now. Let’s all have a quick look.
Since it’s been a bit since we first heard of Mouse Chef: Dig Out, let’s recap. We are a prisoner in this world, and we have found a spoon. We no longer want to be a prisoner, so we need to dig our way out of this 19030s animated prison to get to whatever freedom is on the other side. We also just happen to be a cartoon mouse in this instance and will need to deal with the various guards checking in on our cell and making sure we’re fed along the way. That is where the chef part of it all comes in, as we’ll need to scavenge our food, clean it, cook it, and then repeat as we dig our way out. We’ll need to be careful along the way, though, as it does look like there will be many more hazards than just the guards trying to keep us locked up in the cell. You can see some of the silliness that the game is going to offer up when it is ready for us all to explore, as long as you look a little further down at the gameplay we have for the game now.
Mouse Chef: Dig Out — Gameplay
You are a prisoner in the strangest prison, armed with nothing but a spoon and one simple goal: escape
Dig beneath your cell, cook whatever you can catch, and fight anything standing between you and freedom.
Your spoon is your first tool and perhaps your most reliable one.
Dig tunnels beneath the prison, uncover hidden paths, and gather useful resources along the way. Upgrade your spoon and keep pushing deeper until you reach freedom.
Escaping on an empty stomach is a terrible plan. Unfortunately, dinner may have plans of its own. By day, you work as the prison chef.
Find ingredients, chase down the living ones, wash the dirty ones, and chop them well or make a complete mess of it. Combine whatever you find into meals that prepare you for the dangers ahead.
Not everything beneath this prison wants you to escape.
Use your spoon as a weapon, face skeletons and other strange enemies, and fight your way through whatever stands between you and the next tunnel. Who said escaping prison was easy?!
Every tunnel leads somewhere. Not every path leads outside.
Someone is making sure you never leave this prison. Stay hidden, don’t get caught, and maybe… just maybe… you’ll make it out alive.
Your way out is down there somewhere. Probably!

Do you think that you’ll be able to make it out of Mouse Chef: Dig Out alive? How often are we going to need to worry about the various things in the ground that we’ll potentially come across? Will we be able to poison the guards instead of digging a hole in this game? Will there be an option to wait out the number of days that we have left on our sentence so we can just focus on the cooking? Let’s discuss all of this down in the comment section of the page here. We’re finding all that we can for Mouse Chef: Dig Out to be hilarious and a lot of fun. So, expect us to offer up even more of it along the way, and until the game fully launches. You can see all of that on the site or by following along with all of our socials out there. You’ll want to stay a prisoner to that aspect of things, at the very least.
