This Week In Video Games 8/31/26 — 9/4/26

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week

Well, this happened to be one massive week for all of those video games out there. Even as we came on the tail end of gamescom wrapping up, and gearing up for the big releases on the way to us in the coming weeks. Halloween: The Game certainly went extremely hard to get ready for the launch, then we had a bunch from the Resident Evil movie, Until Dawn 2, and Warlock to keep the hype going. That is also ignoring the fact that we had the surprise of Maneater 2 getting announced, along with various other big video games getting more out there. We also did not have a chance to get to everything that came out this week as well, so saying it was massive is an understatement to say the least.

Next week, we have an American Holiday happening, but we will do what we can to get some of those video games highlighted in the mix of it. Most likely, it will be some of the news we missed during this week. Along with that, we do have a few titles in the works behind the scenes, not to mention getting geared up for some of the film releases that are on the way. There are also a few of the various events going on to lead into Halloween, and we are working hard to get all of that coverage going. If only we were a larger outlet, we might be able to do that, but we cannot be bought. That does hurt us when the big names just want to have you all influenced to buy things, instead of getting the truth of how the world is.
