Crazy Taxi: World Tour shows off its multiplayer gameplay and gives us a look at the Crazy Taxi we will drive around Germany
Start all of those meters out there, as we have a new look at Crazy Taxi: World Tour fresh out of gamescom this year. Even if we’re still going to have to wait until 2027 to get to see how SEGA is bringing this IP back to life on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, it’s never too early to have a bigger look at the world. Not just the world, but also how we’re going to be playing Crazy Taxi: World Tour with many new and old friends. All of that in terms of the multiplayer gameplay that the game is going to have etched right into it, all from the start. Multiplayer gameplay that you might be able to get in on if you sign up for the closed test that is coming up. You still have until August 31st to do all of that.
All of that now out of the way, let’s have a look at the multiplayer for Crazy Taxi: World Tour. Not just the multiplayer and the modes that we’ll have, but also what Germany will have to offer up in this World Tour. It does make sense that we’d see all of that during the convention, and now we get to see how it is going to be portrayed in the game as well. That way, we can race all of our friends on the various streets of Germany, picking up weird passengers, and trying to get them to their destinations around town. Not to mention, it does look as if the multiplayer of Crazy Taxi: World Tour is going to drop in some general drag racing, and other modes that we can speed around in. Speed being the bigger showing here, and we’ll be able to take all of that out on the Autobahn when the time is right. The time is always right in this world, so let’s get out there and see what fares we are going to be able to pick up.

Are you going to try to play Crazy Taxi: World Tour during the closed test when it happens? Will we get to see more multiplayer modes as we get closer to the launch of the game? Will multiplayer be the bigger draw for this title, or will it stick to the solo racing that many of us grew up experiencing in the IP? How many different locations do you think we’re going to get in the final build, and will there be one for Las Vegas? Let’s talk all of that out in the comment section further down the page here. I’m amped for Crazy Taxi: World Tour to finally be coming back, and will keep the news of it all flowing. Please watch the site and all of our socials to see when all of that is ready to get dropped off. You’ll be glad you did, and also won’t miss out on any of the other fun updates that the team has to offer up.
