Freak out over a lot of new gameplay for Silent Hill: Townfall to see how this is going to evolve the lore of Silent Hill
While we still have a month to go before Silent Hill: Townfall creeps its way onto the PS5 and PC, it looks as if Screen Burn is ready to give us a look at how they are going to keep the Konami IP flowing out there. Not that we did not know that the game was coming, but it looks like it is time to give us all some true gameplay to enjoy, for it all lands on September 24th. Well, some edited gameplay, as it does show our protagonist jumping around to different points of the story. My guess is that it is to keep us engaged with what is going on here for Silent Hill: Townfall and not just flush us with a lot of walking and searching static. That seems to be a big portion of the game, but we have a bit of the highlights in the latest eighteen minutes of the game that we have to look at now.
There is not going to be much of splitting hairs here for the gameplay in Silent Hill: Townfall, as it does look as if we are going to be wandering around the island of St. Amelia quite a bit in the game. Some of it looks as if we are going to be trying to find a few people who are missing by trying to play through some of the static. Almost as if we are going through a full walking simulation, just in a foggy world that we have grown to love. That is only half of it, though, as the following footage for Silent Hill: Townfall does take a little shift and brings us into the Otherworld. Not in a fancy way, as that might be saved for the final game, but we do get to see the fog turn red and everything start to decay. Along with that, we get to see and fight the first few entities in the Otherworld, which certainly look as if they fit the environment. That is where more of the stealth and gunplay will come in, but that is always to be expected. Even with the nice touch that we will need to use the video screen, we have to find the static outlines of the creatures in the world so we can better sneak past them all.

How are you feeling about this new version of Silent Hill that we are getting, and does it feel as if there is more walking around than in the past titles? How will the transition between worlds play out in the game, or will it be a blink and we are there kind of shift for our protagonist? Is it odd to see that we are getting firearms rather quickly in the game, and would it have amped up the tension more to give us just basic planks of wood to defend from the start? Let us talk it all out in the comment section and share all of the thoughts. With a month left for Silent Hill: Townfall, I have a feeling we are going to be treated to a little more to see rather soon. I am hopeful for that, and we will have it all on the website when it does come. You will just need to keep coming back here and following all of our social channels to see when that is all ready to look at. As long as they do not make us wait until the game launches to get more of the raw gameplay, that is.
