Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Drives Us Through A Bit More Of The Traffic

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 — Campaign First Look - Traffic

More of the campaign for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is out there, to get us out of a traffic jam in Call Of Duty

It feels a bit weird to go with it, but it does look as if Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is going to have its campaign slowly placed on display for us all as we wait for October 16th to hit us all. What we thought was going to be a little taste before Infinity Ward dropped a bigger look at the story mode for the game looks like it is how they are going to feed the Call of Duty fans. A new little vignette for the mode is ready for us to take to the streets and look at. This time, though, it does show how cinematic the campaign is going to feel when we play it all out on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Quite a bit more cinematic than a first-person shooter normally is, but it is hard to tell from the small clips we are currently getting.

The new little clip we have here takes us off to Paris, France in the Call Of Duty universe. It looks like we are taking to the streets, making some unexpected alliances along the way, and then coming out blasting in those streets. The Alliance coming between Price and Valeria, even though it does seem as if all of the goals are going to align in the mix of things. That is about how it usually goes out there, so it is not too surprising. As I mentioned, though, it is worth noting how many scenes in this short clip look as if we are going to be watching and less shooting things in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Most of the footage does take place with us in a speeding car, so that could have something to do with it, so they can focus on the gunplay and less on adding in new gameplay elements to the IP. It is just interesting to see, as many of the past titles had scenes like this, but never felt like we lost all that much control as we go.

An unexpected alliance takes shape in Paris. See Price and Valeria working together in “Traffic,” from the Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Campaign.

Pre-order and play the Campaign early, starting on October 16.

Are you getting excited to see this kind of campaign back in a Call Of Duty title, or will it look nice while being too short once we get it? Will it only be segments like this where the game will get very cinematic, or will the whole campaign feel that way to try to immerse us further into the story? Will we ever get back to a time where there is a bigger focus on the campaign over the multiplayer, and would it be nice to have many other outside gameplay elements in the mix beyond running and gunning? Let us fire off all of those comments down in the section for them to discuss. We are holding out hope that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will have a massive campaign showcase soon, instead of the little segments. No matter the case, we will have them all here on the website and all of our social channels to share. Just follow along on all of them to make sure you do not miss out on a single thing.
