A new showcase for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is here, and we have a lot more of the Aliens coming for us all out in space
We’ve seen some of the Xenomorphs, and some of the Marines we’re going to be using to bring them down, but now it is time to see just how we are going to be teaming up in Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2. A new Co-Op showcase has been released in the vastness of space from Cold Iron Studios and Daybreak Games to make sure we know just how this is all going to flow once the game launches on August 25th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Along with all of that, it looks as if Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will be coming to the Switch 2 in the Fall of this year as well. That should give us all many more friends to team up and head out there with our squads. Even if it does look as if the firefights are going to be insanely chaotic once we get into the weeds of it all. That is what we are going to have a little bit of a look at now.
The firefights in the following video for Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 certainly show the chaos that will come in the game as we try to manage it all. Although it doesn’t do much to truly help highlight the various classes of Marines and various versions of the Xenomorphs out there. An odd thing to have this late in the cycle, but it still shows off how we can go from 0 to 100 in a matter of moments. Though, I think most of this is to also highlight the fact that there is still the 40th Anniversary Premium Edition of Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 that we can pick up to add more to the chaos. A package that will offer up various DLC packs to the core game that will add characters and elements from the full IP into the game. Each will be available on their own to upgrade, but the larger edition does bundle them all in for a slightly lower price than if you picked them all up one at a time. Even if it doesn’t seem to add much beyond cosmetics and maybe a few different ways to play the same insanity that you can witness in the following video. Have a look and see if you are going to be out there screaming in just a few weeks.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 — Co-Op Showcase
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Alien universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.
