Senua Is back In Action & Fighting Through The Afterlife

Senua — Announcement

A new saga is on the way for Senua, with a whole new title announced to bring Senua back to us all

Just in case you thought we were all done with the saga, Senua is back and coming with a self-titled game for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This would be the lead character in the Hellblade titles that Ninja Theory has been doing an amazing job bringing to us all. Now, we are getting a third full game in the line, with more action and nightmares for Senua to face out there in this Purgatory. Even if it still feels as if all of this is still within our Celtic warrior’s head, that is a whole different thing to debate. Instead, we will just focus on the fact that a third title is on the way and for all of the platforms from launch, and not scattered over a long release schedule.

Before you think you need to play all of the other titles in the Hellblade line, it does look as if Senua will be its own story for us all to enjoy and not a sequel of sorts. I am sure that playing all of the other games will give us all a bit of an insight into the character, but the homework is not needed. As long as you know that all of what we see in the realms will be based on Senua’s psychosis, memories, and various myths that are swirling in her head as well. Unless you are only here for a solid action game, then you will probably add this one to the growing list of strong female warriors taking on the afterlife in their own way. Just that this title will be hitting all of the platforms instead of being a console exclusive. If you know, you know. That said, have a look at the announcement that we have for this game out there.

Did you think that the story Senua was going through was over, or will it be an IP that has many reasons to keep fighting on? Will we have a lot more to appreciate if we have played the Hellblade titles, or will this truly stand on its own with no need to understand the other games? Does it feel as if there is more action in this game than we have seen before, or is this all to hype up the game before we dig into the deeper things going on in her head? Let us discuss all of that in the comment section down the page here. We are going to have all that we can for Senua on the website, so please follow along here and with all of our social channels. You will not want to miss any of the updates that we have to offer up to the world out there.
