The Early Access for Better Than Dead is finally here, and we can get a solid feel for what Better Than Dead will be bringing us all
It is time to take aim and head into the world of bodycam video games, with Better Than Dead having its Early Access kicking off on the PC. It is understandable if you have been lost in which one this is, but we will remind you that it is from Monte Gallo and MicroProse that we have seen in the past. Yes, a solo developer on this one, and it is looking to give us all the most realistic camera angle we can expect. As long as Better Than Dead pans out the way that we are all hoping that it will. We will have to see how this Early Access goes, and how it will be able to grow and shape from there. Those still not fully familiar with this one, well, let us dive a little further into what this version of the genre is going to be offering up out there.
While there are many titles like Better Than Dead out there or on the way out there, this one follows a woman on a revenge arc in the world. It just uses the bodycam style to help show how brutal all of this is going to be. Especially as it sounds like this poor woman was exploited, used, and left completely broken by those we are going to have to bring some street justice to. I am not going to say much further on the why she is doing things, as I hope that you are able to piece that all together based on context clues. What we do get to experience in Better Than Dead is that this woman has picked up a gun to take out some trash, and is recording it all through the bodycam she is wearing. Which will be where our POV in this first-person shooter will be, so it gives us all a bit more of a grounded feeling in the virtual world. It also helps to hide any of the weird blemishes or uncanny valley of things that we can get when it comes to our realistic video games out there.
