Just ahead of the Invincible VS beta, we have a new look at just what parts of Invincible VS we will get to play
The beta is about to kick off on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S for Invincible VS, for those who want to give it all a go. We still have to wait until April 30th for Quarter Up and Skybound to give us all the full game, so the wait will not be too long if you miss out. I say that, as the open beta for Invincible VS is only running from April 9th to the 11th. So, there is only a short window for us all to have a chance to see how the 3v3 fighter is going to shape up. Especially as we are getting a lot of god-level characters in the fight that should be able to take everyone’s heads off right from the start. Something that we will get to see a little bit of in this open beta.
We have now covered the when of the Invincible VS open beta, so let us dig into what will be coming in the beta. There will be three different play modes that we are going to have in the game, and we are going to be able to use ten different fighters that have been announced already. Along with all of that, those who do participate in the open beta will have the chance to unlock a new costume for Omni-Man before the full launch of the game. All of that, and it looks like we are going to be able to see how brutal Invincible VS is going to be in the fights. Nothing to the level of Mortal Kombat, but it does look as if we will have certain moves that will be able to end the lives of the opponents. We will find out tomorrow if those are just part of the end of the match, or if we are going to need to place in some special combos to pull off. Would it have given more incentive if there were other costumes to unlock, or will there be so many in the game that we will not need to worry about that?
