REPLACED Has Had Its Release Date Replaced With A Slight Delay

REPLACED — New Release Date

A new release date for REPLACED is set, with REPLACED dropping in April instead of March now

Those hoping to have seen REPLACED out there on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC by now, might have noticed that it is not as of yet. You are not going crazy, but it does seem like there was a quick little update for the game that Sad Cat Studios and Thunderful had to get done before we could all play the final version of the game. One that seems to have pushed the release of it all out by another month, so, now REPLACED will be landing on all of those platforms mentioned on April 14th. I’m sure there is a good reason for all of this, but for now, let’s mark down the new date for when we can expect to head out there into this cyberpunk world that they’ll have for us.

The true reason for all of this does seem to be up in the air, but I’m sure it is all to make sure REPLACED is a better title when it drops. Not that the 2.5D action platforming genre has much competition at the moment, but it is usually a decent sign that the team spotted something they didn’t want the community to beta test when a delay comes and a new date is quickly set. That’s been how things have gone for a few of the titles I’ve enjoyed over the years. Just be happy this wasn’t a 6 or 7 month delay with no reasons given for REPLACED. That feels like it would have cast a harder shadow on the game. As long as they don’t keep pushing the release back, I’ll still keep my high hopes that this one is going to stick the landing once it does finally launch. Here’s one new teaser for the game to help ease the blow of the slight delay we have to endure.

REPLACED — New Release Date

Uncover the sinister secrets of Phoenix Corporation when REPLACED releases on April 14, 2026, on PC and Xbox.

REPLACED is a 2.5D cinematic action platformer wrapped in an intense cyberpunk thriller narrative. Run, climb, and fight through crumbling districts, industrial wastelands, and neon-lit alleys with fluid movement and fast, responsive combat. Chain precise melee strikes with satisfying ranged attacks to take down enemies in high-intensity encounters while keeping the flow of exploration.

Did you notice, before now, that REPLACED didn’t make the original release date? Is this just a smaller title that will be fun for you when it is finally ready to go? Is it a good sign when any video game has to be delayed but has a release date so close to the original? How likely do you think it might be that this one will keep getting delayed further and further into the year? Let’s hear it all out in the comment section down the page here. There should be one more update for REPLACED as it gets ready for the final launch, so be sure to check the site for all of that when it comes. Not to mention, you should be following all of our socials to make sure that you don’t miss out on any of the updates we have to share out there.
