One more classic Invincible character is on the roster and we are getting an open beta for Invincible VS very soon
In another move to give us a character we were all certain was going to be in Invincible VS, we have the announcement that Allen The Alien is going to be on the roster for the game. This is the sixteenth character, with two more to be announced by Quarter Up and Skybound Games. Given that the game is still hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 30th, there is still a lot of time to get those out there. For now, let us focus on Allen and what this will bring for Invincible VS. Not just as a character, but this all comes with the announcement that there will be an open beta for the game on all platforms as well. A double punch of info here.
To tackle Allen first, not that Invincible has ever made that seem like an easy task, the character does look like he will be in the mix as another brute and overly powerful character. Much as he is the show and comics. The difference between him and the Viltrumites is that he looks to have some charm and humor to it all. Even if we are not getting Seth Rogen to voice the character in the game, as it sounds. That does not take away the fun that Allen looks to bring to the fights with a straightforward attacking style. Something we are going to get to experience on April 9th in the open beta for Invincible VS. He will be one of the ten fighters we can play with in the beta. While many of the new characters and other Viltrumites are left out. A weird call to see, as that makes it feel like those all might play as a similar character just with different skins and the team is trying to correct that, to keep us wondering until the game’s full launch. That could just be me thinking, though.
