A new look at 007 First Light gives us another famous face to look at and help sell us all on 007 First Light
We have more of the stunt casting coming in here for 007 First Light, as we have a new look at Bawma, who will be played by Lenny Kravitz when it launches. This is something we have heard and seen in the past from IO Interactive, but we have a new, extended look at the character and just what he will bring into the world of 007 First Light. Along with that, we have a little bit of the performance we can see in the game, so we might be able to make sure it is more than just a face and voice having us pick things up on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC when May 27th comes around. That is the hope when we have big names and likenesses forced to be the hype for a game. Let’s have a look.
The following looks at 007 First Light places the character right in the middle of the action out there. Not just to show off the likeness and voice, but also give us a sense of the danger that Bawma will present in the game. Bawma does run a vast black-market network in the world, and we do see that James has crossed paths with it. Although it is a little ambiguous if Bawma will play a full antagonist role in the game, or if all of this is building towards an unlikely team-up as the story unfolds. I can see it going either way as 007 First Light feels like it is pulling one of the more recent films in as inspiration for the whole scene. There was almost an identical scene to all of this in Skyfall, if my memory serves me correctly. Have a look and see just how the character is brought to life, and if you are getting the same feel from all of this too.

007 First Light comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC on May 27th, 2026.
How do you feel about this casting in 007 First Light that we have? Will the performance shine through and not just be a one-off little thing to build hype? Are you getting the same feeling from this scene as I am? Will all of this lead to something bigger in the game, or will it be just one little mission for us all to overcome along the way? Let’s have all of those thoughts in the comments so we can talk about them. I’m sure there’s still more for 007 First Light to come, so please keep checking back here for all of that. You might also want to follow all of our socials to make sure you get the updates as soon as they land out there. There are still so many more to come for this title and many others.
