New pre-order bonuses for Directive 8020 are out there, along with an official release date for Directive 8020
It looks like we have a lot more fun for Directive 8020 on the way to us all if we are opting to pre-order the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC. Well, fun might not be the best word to use there, unless you are huge on modding your character’s fits and looks long the way. It seems that Supermassive Games has some new things in the mix that link us right back into The Dark Pictures if we so choose to throw down the money for Directive 8020 before May 12th. Oh yeah, that is now the official release date for the game, after all the delays and pushes we have had to endure up until now. So, there is that great news if you are not into cosmetics and collectibles in your digital games.
So, a little bit of a disclaimer here, as all of the little extras for Directive 8020 do come about if you are picking up the Deluxe Editions of the game. That does mean that these are just going to build out those digital files a bit more than anything, and you might not end up owning anything much for the few extra bucks and early payment. Here you will get some inspired outfits for our characters based around The Dark Pictures, but since this has yet to be shown how it will link into that run of titles, it is hard to see what is different than a quick color swap would not offer up. Then there are the extra collectible bobbleheads in Directive 8020 as well. Something fun to look at as we did in Frank Stone, but it does not seem to offer up anything outside of having something to move around in the game. You can see all of these little extras that will be tossed in just for the pre-order, but it does feel a little lackluster to me.
