One last developer diary for High On Life 2 is out there, and this one is all about the new firearms coming in High On Life 2
Just as we are on the edge of High On Life 2 landing on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, we have one last developer diary to get us ready for the game. This one is one of the big ones from Squanch Games, as it takes us right into a look at all of the new and old weapons we will be using out there in this new world. Specifically with three that are making their way back from High On Life, with the same voices, and then a few more that are coming from places you might not specifically expect. If not that, they will be telling a few extra fun stories that only a game like this could truly put out there, and still feel like it all makes sense. Let us dive right into the weapons we are going to be hearing a whole lot from when the game launches on February 13th.
As mentioned, we are going to have at least three new guns in High On Life 2, and they all feel like they are going to be vastly different from what we have seen before. The first one looks to be a specialized bow that we will be able to fire. Beyond having a look at it, there is not much else to talk about. The more interesting ones we have seem to be a gun we build from the head of a fallen enemy who asks to be made into a gun. We will then get to go through the journey with them as they learn more about the world and have some character growth after the decapitation. The next is more of a pair of guns. A new way for us to dual-wield pistols in High On Life 2, and with a married couple in gun form. A couple that seems to be going through a few things and will either regrow those bonds of love during the game, or choose to go separately by the end. Seeing as it looks like there is a special attack based on their love, I have a feeling things will work out, but it will be one fun journey to see how we get there.
