The Release Date Is Set To Send You Into The Prison Of The Gothic 1 Remake

Gothic 1 — Remake Release Date

The Gothic 1 remake now has a release date for us all to be locked back into the prison world built in Gothic

It’s been close to a year since we had anything solid to report on the Gothic 1 Remake around these parts, which is why it is always good to get something big for a game like this. It is something that captured so many years ago, and now that Alkimia Interactive and THQ Nordic have been working on bringing it all back for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, they do have a bit to live up to. It looks as if they’ve taken their time, that’s for sure, but that time is coming to an end. Specifically, that time is coming to an end on June 5th, when the Gothic 1 Remake is set to hit all those platforms. Yes, the wait to see how they did is almost over, and that is not all that we have to share with you today.

In addition to the release date for Gothic 1 Remake, we have a whole lot of new gameplay to take in for the game here. So very much more than you could have expected to see how this new prison world will be, trying to enforce all of the rules out there. Also, how are we going to stand up to all those rules and face the powers that be to try to escape? Escape or, maybe, make the world a little bit of a better place for all who are forced inside the bubble of it all. Those are our choices, it seems, as we can fight it all or become yet another to be shaped into the perfect little resident of the world of Gothic. If you don’t believe it, you can see the latest gameplay we have for the game as we all wait for the months to fly right by to the release of it all.

An unforgiving world awaits beneath the barrier. Will you shape it — or be consumed by it?

Did you lose hope that we would ever see the Gothic 1 Remake after so much time waiting? Do you think this will be the remake that brings players back into the IP, or will it just hit the nostalgia for a select few? Will we actually be able to escape this mystical prison we find ourselves in within the game? How much do you think has changed from the original title out there? If this one does well, will we see any others in the IP get a fresh coat of paint slapped on? Let’s talk all about this and more in the comment section down the page here. We have more time for the Gothic 1 Remake to offer up new footage and news, and we’ll have it all here for you.
