Love Is In The Air With A Bit Of Story For Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival — Love Story

We have a new look at the story coming in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival and how love is at the core of any good Hellraiser story

It you have a look back at all of the films in the IP, they all do revolve around love in one way or another, and it looks as if Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is going to be following the same lines. Sure, they all might be a bit of a messed-up form of love, but Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive have a good understanding of what drives the desires of the human race, and that will be on display in the game. Not just the humans, but also the cenobites in the game, as they have always had a good understanding of pleasure and pain in the Hellraiser universe. Okay, that all might be a bit of a stretch, but with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, we all needed a good way to get something out before the game launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

For those who can endure the pain of not jumping into the latest video for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival that we have, let us give a bit of context. This is another of the censored versions of the videos, with the glitches covering up things deemed “too spicy” for YouTube, even with an age-gate. It truly is not much, as the bulk of the video shows the budding relationship and love between Aidan and Sunny in the game. It looked like it was pure and filled with all of the trappings of a truly adult relationship in a modern age, until the puzzle box came into their lives. It looks as if Sunny is the first to crack it and is now seeing all of the sights the cenobites have to show her. Aidan does not want that to happen, so he sets forth into “Hell” to save his love and tries not to lose his mind along the way. See, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival is truly going to be a love story, just with more blood, chains, and hooks. Then it would be a real love story… am I right…?
