The pre-orders for Directive 8020 are ready for us to snag, after a bit of new Directive 8020 gameplay
The clocks are ticking down until we get to see the next massive story that Supermassive Games is going to tell with Directive 8020. We have been waiting quite a bit of time for this one, and with May 12th set for its release date, we only have so much time until it lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. So much time to see some new gameplay elements that have been added in, along with the timeline to pre-order your copy of Directive 8020. Both of those are the big news here, with pre-orders open now and offering fun little digital extras for those who do. Those who need convincing of that, let us have a look at the latest gameplay the team has offered up to us.
In the new footage for Directive 8020, we get to see a lot of the new areas of the ship that we are going to need to sneak our way through. Unless we really want to take on the monsters that are roaming the sludge-filled areas. That is always a bad choice we can make. Which brings us to the next bit of gameplay fun we have in the mix: the choices. There are a few different choices we get to see play out in the following video, with some of them showing how things go if we go down one path, then the other. This is one of the fun mechanics that Directive 8020 is having brought over from The Casting Of Frank Stone, where it looks like we will have the branching narrative map to look at to try to figure out how things are going to play out. Then we will be able to replay scenes, making those choices, and dealing with whatever consequences those choices bring. I am so very excited for all of this.
