Those who have been wondering how Chloe is back in Life Is Strange: Reunion can now have their questions answered
It has been a thing on so many minds since the announcement for Life Is Strange: Reunion. Just how is Chloe back in the mix of things in the game? Not just alive in the story again, but also as a playable character. Well, the second part there is that Deck Nine Games wanted to mix things up with the gameplay to give us more to experience on March 26th. The first part of that question, well, that comes into reliving part of the story from before and understanding how the canon choice from Life Is Strange: Double Exposure will be the main reason we have our partner in crime back with us on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC very soon. Here is how that is all going to shake out.
Those who might need a refresher of things for Life Is Strange, in the first game, we are led to a path where we have to choose to save Chloe or to save the town. A good number of players chose the town and placed Chloe in that permanent dead space. Fast forward to Double Exposure, where Max is in a similar predicament but instead manages to merge the two timelines where her friend died and is still alive. This little wrinkle in the timeline continuity also forced both timelines from the original Life Is Strange into this new one. Unfortunately for Chloe, she has to deal with the repercussions of this by having split memories of both. Even if the memories of the dead timeline should stop at some point, you know, because she was dead and should not have any new memories. Life Is Strange: Reunion — How Is Chloe Back?
If you’re an OG Life Is Strange player, you might be wondering, “How on earth is Chloe back?!”
For a percentage of players who sacrificed her in order to save the town of Arcadia Bay, Chloe CAN’T be back. Right?
