A new ARG for Poppy Playtime has started, with a little look at another experiment to experience in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5
With Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 hitting the PC very soon, February 18th, it looks as if it is time for the hype to start to fire off out there. That’s what Mob Entertainment thinks, at least, as it looks like a new ARG has been kicked off out there. One that will take us deeper into the lore of Poppy Playtime while also getting us ready for this new chapter to show off a bigger experiment. Something that we have to look at in the first video out there for all of this, and for many others to dig through each frame to try to figure out what the story is actually telling. Maybe, so others who have the time can also place it out there for those who want to know, but lack the time and expertise to find all the clues.
While it is fun, this doesn’t hold any new footage for the upcoming chapter of Poppy Playtime. Take that note, if that is all you care about for the game. What it does have in it is a look at Experiment 1188 and the treatment it went through. One that seems to have erased what was there before and replaced it only with Catnap. Those deep in the fun of Poppy Playtime would know most of this already, but this does look like it will be building up to the final experiment that we will get to see in the upcoming release. It could also mean nothing else, for now, but is just here to help build the hype and keep us engaged for the next month. You can see just what I’m talking about in the following video that we have for the game, and then follow along with others in the ARG at the game’s Discord. I have a feeling that’s where more of the details for the nitty-gritty will be for those looking for it.

Did you learn anything new for Poppy Playtime out of all of this? Is it fun to see the events that led to Catnap coming to be out there? Will we have more to look at for the other experiments until The Prototype is out there in the wild? Will there be anything deeper in these videos, or will it truly all just be to hype us up for the chapter’s release? Let’s discuss all of that down in the comment section. There will be more for Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 in the coming weeks, so make sure to keep coming back to the site and watching our socials out there. We’ll add it all for you as we are allowed to, so get ready for all of the fun lore still to come.
