Mira Is Playing Us All Out With The Latest For Liminal Point

Liminal Point — Mira

A new bit of gameplay for Liminal Point is out there, and this one further highlights Mira as we go searching for her in Liminal Point

It’s time to enter more of the darkness out there, with something new to look at for Liminal Point. We’ve seen some of the gameplay and horrors that HideWorks will be placing in the game when it launches on PC down the line, so now it is time to dig a bit further into the story. Along with some new gameplay and monsters that Liminal Point will have for us. This is a story all about how we are trying to find our missing bandmate, Mira, so it’s fitting that we are finally getting a little more into that. Even if it does look and feel like Mira might be the bigger problem in the world than all of the horrible monstrosities wandering about. Let’s all have a look.

Watching all of the new gameplay for Liminal Point, we can certainly start to see how all of the other titles that the team used as inspiration have been paying off. Even if this does look and feel a little more like a twin-stick shooter than an isometric title to me. That could be how it is all being presented here, with Lyra taking aim with laser sights and flashlights, as we see the amalgamation of flesh crawling towards us. Truly terrifying, but then we get to see who we can assume is Mira out there in Liminal Point. Someone who certainly looks a little less alive than we’d like, but could also be controlling all of these things in this other world. That’s purely speculation on my part, but the following video for the game makes it feel like I might be on the correct path. Have a look and see if you will agree with me.

Liminal Point — Mira

Check out the third official trailer for HideWorksSIGNALIS, Resident Evil, and Silent Hill inspired classic isometric survival horror game.

Former rising rockstar Lyra Sterling returns to Ashen Point in search of her missing bandmate, Mira.

How does all of this sit for you when it comes to the gameplay now? Do you think that Mira will be in control during the full Liminal Point experience? Will any of these things be drawn from character trauma before the events of the game? Where are the other band members, and why are they not helping Lyra along this journey? Let’s all talk about that in the comment section. Since we still have no clue when Liminal Point will be launching, we can only expect more teases along the way. We’ll have all of those on the site and our social channels, so please follow along with all of that as it flows out there. Maybe, we’ll even get some of those deeper questions answered in the next big update for the game.
