Layers Of Fear is coming to the Switch 2, with the final masterpiece edition of Layers Of Fear announced
It might have taken a while to get here, but it looks as if Layers Of Fear will finally have its masterpiece out there. Well, out there on the Switch 2 as Bloober Team has made sure to have the game on all of the other platforms with the various DLC for a while now. It is the holiday season, and it is likely that many will have a brand-new Switch 2 to play with, so it makes sense. We need to have the horror of all of the Layers Of Fear titles in one place and in an immersive way. Even if that way will be a little earlier than we expect, with December 19th being the day that we can see this new version of the game on the newer system out there. How fun.
As one might assume, this version of Layers Of Fear will bring all of the games in the IP and the DLC over to the Switch 2 for us to take the horrors on the go. Again. Just as you would assume, these versions of the games have been modified and updated to work with the new hardware and use the Joy-Con functionality to add an extra level of immersion into the game. Along with that, there will be some touchscreen support, and all of the titles in Layers Of Fear have been optimized to have the crisp look when docked at home or on the go out there. Not too shabby for those who might have missed the games released over the last few years out there. Have a look at how it will all flow out there with the latest video. Then, we only have a few more weeks to see if it will truly be the final masterpiece of the IP out there.
Layers Of Fear — Final Masterpiece Edition
Layers Of Fear: Final Masterpiece Edition will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 19.
The game has been fully optimized for the Switch 2 hardware, featuring motion controls and Joy-Con interaction for an immersive exploration experience. For fans of handheld play, a touchscreen support is also included, with enhanced rendering available in both docked and portable modes.
Will this be the version of the Layers Of Fear IP that you will play, or have you gone through all of the titles before now? How do you think the Joy-Cons will alter the gameplay, or will it just be the same bits with a different way to hold your hands? What will the touchscreen functionality bring to the table, and will it be weird to have that in a game that should have had that from the start? Let us discuss all of that and more in the comment section below. When or if we have more to share for the Layers Of Fear line, we will have it all here on the site. Also, it will be on our social channels, so please follow along with all of that so you do not miss out on a single strand of information.
