The Black Death Comes More With Gameplay For The Blood Of Dawnwalker

The Blood Of Dawnwalker — Gameplay Overview (Part 2)

New gameplay for The Blood Of Dawnwalker is out here to show us more of the duality of the Dawnwalker

When The Blood Of Dawnwalker comes with new gameplay, it does not mess around. We had a long bit to look at for all of our vampires and non-vampires out there that Rebel Wolves is putting into the game the first time around. Now, here we are with another massive look at the game and how our Dawnwalker will be interacting with everything when the game hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2026. Almost a half-hour of new gameplay to dive into, with a few light spoilers for those who want to go in as bland as possible when it comes to the story. This one is mostly about the exploration of the character, some of the combat, and how the team took some of the comments about the previous footage and changed things up to our liking. Let’s have a look at what is out there now.

The bigger change we get to see in this new gameplay for The Blood Of Dawnwalker is that the camera has been pulled out a bit to better show off the combat and the world. A world that we will need to explore in the day as our human, with some extra magic to help out, and then at night, with our vampiric nature offering up some extra senses to notice little things about the world. So, it will pay off to head back to a location after the sun goes down, it would seem. Not to mention, combat in The Blood Of Dawnwalker feels a little sluggish out there, with swords swinging about and the new real-time action options in the mix. All of this gets sped up a bit while we are in our vampiric form, so it looks as if the trade-off will be speed for magic. An interesting way to go about it all, but one that looks as if it will pull in many of the fantasy gamers out there who have a taste for this style of game. Have a look at it all flowing and wait for the next massive update that will be coming.
