The Early Access launch for Bonefield is finally here, with the first chapter of Bonefield ready just in time for this Halloween season
Grab your bodycam and get ready to head out into rural Montana, as the Early Access for Bonefield is finally ready for all of the PC gamers to dive into out there. This is another in the long line of titles using the style of the camera to help immerse us further into a world. That and Red Rock Gaming Studios to have an easier time making a realistic-looking horror title without the need for going photorealistic. I am sure that will help the overhead of the game, as well as keep players wanting to see how all of the chapters for Bonefield play out. Not that this is an episodic game, but it does look as if it will be a bit more of a found footage thing as it comes to sharing the story. We do not need to wait to find out, as the Early Access for it all is ready for us to dig into now.
If the story for Bonefield is not released out there in a found footage style, as we assume, then it could just be more of the chapters that we see in other horror games like it. Given that the private investigator we are playing as might be wandering about different places to figure out what is causing all of the weirdness out there, we could be seeing different locations along the way as part of that. Even if it would be interesting to see different characters tackling the problems in Bonefield, MT, is instead of just following one character. That is just my thoughts for now, though, so who knows. At least having one character’s POV the whole game would explain all of the weapons and gear that we have to use. Especially as it looks like we will need a special flash to make the horrors come into the light, so we can try to attack back. I do not know why I am carrying on about it all, as it would just be easier to go play the game right now instead.
Bonefield — Early Access Launch
Bonefield is now available in Early Access on Steam!
Experience next-level fear through bodycam-style survival horror.
Welcome to Bonefield, Montana.
A private investigator’s routine case unravels into a waking nightmare as he’s hunted by unseen tormentors across a decaying mountain town. Scavenge weapons, fight for every breath, and survive the night through the unflinching lens of a bodycam.
Are you going to be giving Bonefield a try out there, or will you hold out for the full launch down the line? Will it be one character’s POV the whole time, or could the chapters give us different investigators along the way? Would you like it to be an episodic release instead of an Early Access, or will it function just as well as the teams have it designed at this point? Take a walk on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that is going on out there for the game. The cycle will be moving forward for Bonefield, so expect there to be more updates for it all. Just keep a close eye on the site here and all of our social channels to be able to experience it all. It does look like it will be one wild ride.
