A demo for the upcoming Huntsman is on the way, along with a release window now being set for Huntsman to scare us all
True fear is on the way out there for so many, with the announcement we have for the upcoming title, Huntsman. A new one for the PC from OnTheHouse Studios and Ten Image Publishing that is going to tap into some primal fears that most of humanity has out there. No, this is now a horror game about public speaking. As the title alludes to, Huntsman is a title about being hunted down by giant spiders. Yes, this will be your first arachnophobe warning before heading down to see the trailer. Also, before you get bombarded with others playing the new demo that will be coming out on October 13th, before the full launch in November. All manner of spider content is on the way, so you have now been warned.
The core premise of Huntsman is that we are playing as a security guard for Atherton Laboratories. They are up to some weird experiments, and as you most likely guessed, the latest has to deal with arachnids. That means that this is not going to be about just one type of creepy crawlers, but a few different ones. As we try to figure out how to escape the building, we also need to distract and divert the eight-legged freaks elsewhere. A true nightmare for so many out there, that I can see Huntsman offering up so many terrifying nightmares to come. More so, as we all know, just seeing one of these things will generally make you feel them crawling all over for hours later. Now, after watching the gameplay footage, imagine how many months it is going to be after seeing these things moving realistically in this new setting. Survival horror game, Huntsman, is coming to PC in November, with a demo on October 13th. As the new security guard at Atherton Laboratories, chaos erupts as eight-legged predators infest the hallways. Outnumbered and defenseless, you must find a way to eliminate the threats and lift the facility lockdown to escape. Will you survive, or become the spider’s next prey?
Also, the Huntsman is not alone, as Atherton scientists have experimented on other arachnids, including the deadly Orb Weaver. Learn its behaviours, or become its next victim.
- Descend Into The Web – Explore a facility overrun by invasive predators. Divert limited power between sections of the building to access new areas, gather vital resources, and outmaneuver the swarm.
- Improvise Or Die – Use your flashlight, throwables, and the environment itself to distract, mislead, and evade the deadliest creatures you’ve ever faced. Just remember: one wrong move, and you’re prey.
- Fear Has Eight Legs – Experience arachnophobia like never before! Each spider moves, hunts, and reacts with terrifying realism, triggering primal instincts your mind won’t be able to ignore.
