The Banu Haqim is here for Bloodlines 2, as we have another of the playable clans shown off for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
Death is going to be a little more silent in the world of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, with the Banu Haqim clan stepping up for the next showcase. This would be the next clan that The Chinese Room has to offer up as a playable one in the mix, and another of the combat-oriented ones out there. They are known to be the vampire assassins in the World Of Darkness, so it feels like it tracks. Now, we have a look at how much blood they are going to spill in Bloodlines 2 as we get close to that October 21st release date on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Let’s sneak a peek at what the clan will bring and the powers they will have now.
This is one of the clans that has had a bit of an overhaul as the tabletop version of the game evolved, and it is fun to see how Bloodlines 2 will be bringing some of this to life. More as they lost the racial and problematic aspects originally written for the clan, and now leaning into their darkness and mystery. Also, by giving them the ability to sneak around unseen and in total silence, which is great for a clan of assassins. While it does fit the lore from Vampire: The Masquerade, it is a little interesting to see that they are giving them access to the blood magic in Bloodlines 2, given that it is the focus of the Tremere. Maybe that is how they will explain away the Bladed Hands power and other weird attacks they will have that are not linked to being sneaky or super fast out there. Try to see the Banu Haqim in action just down the page a bit more to see if this will be your clan of choice.
Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 — Clan: Banu Haqim
Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 will be released on October 21, 2025.
The action-RPG video game is the sequel to the cult classic Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines. Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 lets players step into its story through two distinct, alternating perspectives: Elder vampire Phyre and Malkavian detective Fabien.
Today, The Chinese Room brings you a new glimpse into The Clan of the Hunt. Meet the Banu Haqim characters of Seattle and see Phyre’s judgment in action.
Banu Haqim starts with “Celerity,” “Blood Sorcery,” and “Obfuscate” as clan affinities, and “Silence Of Death: All your actions become entirely silent for a period after feeding” as the passive ability. Then, as the game progresses, you’ll be able to unlock the following Banu Haqim disciplines:
- Bladed Hand: Slash swiftly in front of you, beheading weaker opponents.
- Split Second: Move so fast that time appears to stop around you.
- Mute: Silence your target’s screams and weapons.
- Unseen Aura: Become temporarily invisible to enemies and civilians.
- Unseen Passage – Clan Perk: Can remain crouched whilst sprinting.
Are you excited to see this one in action for Bloodlines 2? Will they have more to the Blood Sorcery than we are seeing here, or will it just be to help explain some of the other fantastic things they can do? Will you be using them to go through a full stealth play of the game when it launches? Which clan has been built up to be your favorite out there so far? Sneak on down to the comment section to discuss all of this. We will have all that we can for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, that is for sure, so please keep on following along here or on our social account. We still have more clans before the launch, so we can certainly guarantee all of that.
