Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection Will Have Us Test Our Might On The Switch 2

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection — Switch 2

The Mortal Kombat fun is on the way to the Switch 2, with the announcement for Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection on the console

It feels like this should have been confirmed for a while now, but here we go with the official word that Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will be hitting the Switch 2 when it launches out there. This will mean the collection of titles will be hitting all of the current platforms out there that we play our video games on, and Digital Eclipse will be testing all of the might when it does. Even if we all still have to wait a bit longer to get all of this Mortal Kombat fun, it is something to keep us going. As long as we are looking to grab the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, or PC on October 30th in digital form. If you are hard-pressed to get it all physical, you will still need to wait until December 12th. That includes the Switch 2 as well, now.

Those looking for something special to come with the Switch 2 version of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection are going to be a little letdown here. This version of the collection will get the same list of titles from the IP that we have had announced already, along with all of the other features that we have seen up to now. That means we will be able to take the fight on the go and the interactive behind-the-scenes for Mortal Kombat that is already coming. The only true addition to this version will be that it will have the GameShare feature that the Switch 2 will allow for. As well as all of the other online play and various other bits that the 11 titles will have added to make them feel closer to a modern title. Something that will only truly pay off when you have the system docked, at least for those who are looking for the best visuals that the game can offer. Those not worried about that, well, you’ll just have the same experience as the rest out there, just that you can be a bit more mobile as needed.

Did you think there was going to be something new truly added in for this edition of the game? Will we still be able to have a similar experience while on the move with all of the games? If there is anything further for the Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, I will do my best to add it to the site for you all.
