Baby Steps Slides Into A New Release Date In A Weird Way

Baby Steps — The Breast Milk Slide

A new release date for Baby Steps is set, with a new feature getting added into the weirdness of Baby Steps

Here we go with one of the weirder updates that we have had for Baby Steps, and we are not talking about the new release date for the game. That is part of this, as it does look like Devolver Digital has pushed the game out just a few more weeks, so it will hit the PS5 and PC on September 23rd now. Not a massive change, but when you add in the fact that the latest video we have for Baby Steps offers up a little bit of extra weird, we have something that will grab eyes. Like the fact that our guy Nate will have a faster way to get around if we so choose. That way looks to be slides made out of breast milk. Yes, you read that correctly, and not something that I truly wanted to say out there.

Okay, yeah… I am not overly clear why it had to be labeled that way in Baby Steps, but it looks like these slippery slides will be something we will encounter as we wander about the game’s world now. By name alone, with this game, it does kind of make sense to use that. What is weird, though, is that Nate looks to be a grown human who is just learning how to walk again, which adds a whole different thing into the mix for Baby Steps by calling it all breast milk. It is unclear if this is going to be something we are placing in the world to help get around faster, or if this will be an obstacle we are going to need to avoid out there in the wild. It could also just be a weird way to announce that the game is sliding into a new release date and has nothing to do with anything beyond all of that.

Baby Steps — The Breast Milk Slide

Coming to PS5 and PC on September 23!

Play as Nate, an unemployed failson with nothing going for him, until one day he discovers a power he never knew he had… putting one foot in front of the other.

Does this all make sense for you in a game called Baby Steps? Will this be a true obstacle we are going to need to make sure we don’t fall victim to? Why do you think it is labeled the way that it is here? What other weird things will be in the mix of the game beyond this bodily fluid that the team added in? Slip on down to the comment section to discuss all of that. I am intrigued by Baby Steps and will keep my eyes on it a bit more. Please do us the favor by keeping your eyes on the site and our social channels so you see and hear about all of the new bits as they flow out there.
