The launch of Cronos: The New Dawn on the Switch 2 is also here, and we have a fun look at how Cronos looks on the platform
This is the week that all of the digital releases for Cronos: The New Dawn have landed, and that includes the Switch 2 in the mix of the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The platform I know I have been curious about to see if it is going to hold up to all of the other main platforms, given the level of detail Bloober Team has put into the game. I am sure that has been the case with many other gamers out there looking to add this one to the collection of games on the go. Well, now that today is the official release day for Cronos: The New Dawn, we have a small look at how the game should look when you load it up on the Switch 2. Let us see if it is going to be a true contender out there, or if it is going to only be for those Nintendo diehard fans who will never play a game on a different platform.
Just so you are informed, there does not look to be anything new in terms of gameplay footage for Cronos: The New Dawn in the following video, unless you have not watched all of the other videos we have had for the game. What we do get to see, though, is how it all will flow on the Switch 2 and if there were any visual downgrades that had to take place to get it to work. From a basic glance, it does not look like there have been any true hindrances for the console. Until you realize that this will be how it looks when the game is docked and not on the go. Given that it is all in the 4K 60fps here, which can only be achieved when docked. It does look like Cronos: The New Dawn will shine just as much as the other version in that aspect. It is just something worth noting if you are a Switch gamer who does not usually play while it is docked. That is where one will need to assume it is going to be downgraded a bit, but not to a point where it will not be a fun experience. Just something that many might miss when it comes to the way it is all marketed.
Cronos: The New Dawn — Nintendo Switch 2
The game is out now on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2!
Will you be playing Cronos: The New Dawn on the Switch 2, or did you opt to go with the other platforms to make sure you have the best visuals? Will it even matter to you if you play the game undocked, or are you one of the weird Switch players who leave it docked all the time? How reactive will the smaller controllers be for this game, and will it still function just as well even with the Joy-Cons? Take some time, and head down to the comment section to discuss all of that. Now that Cronos: The New Dawn is fully out there, it will be iffy if we have more to offer up, but know that we will if there is anything. There are still physical editions of the game that we have coming, so maybe there will be another big push when that happens. More so, if they offer up some bigger collections if the game truly does well until then.
