This Week In Video Games 8/25/25 — 8/29/25

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week

What a week this was here for us, as we had so many things to cover that were not video games in general. Even as we started to wrap up everything for Gamescom, that came out, too. The bigger bit is the podcast and review that we had for the Toxic Avenger, which hits theaters as you are reading this. We also had a bit of fun looking at Return To Silent Hill, which does still fall into the video games realm, but is still a film we are excited for. At least when not playing titles like Bloodlines 2 and Dying Light: The Beast here soon. We still also did not get to wrap up everything we wanted to, so that does mean we will have even more to look at as we head into the next week out there.

Speaking of, here in the States, it is a holiday weekend, so we might be a little light on news for the various video games out there. We will try to get something out there when not hitting up a grill outside or anything. Just be sure to take that into account when we kick off the following week. Even if we do have one more bit from SDCC on the way out there for you all, the next AggroCast is in the works. Maybe even a deeper review for Toxic Avenger after we are able to see the full unrated version that is out there. So, there should be a whole lot of extra fun if all goes to plan.
