Fans of Deadpool have another weird story on the way to us all when it comes to Marvel’s Deadpool VR
It’s story time out here for Marvel’s Deadpool VR. Well, at least a bit more to the story that Twisted Pixel Games is working on and willing to toss our way during Gamescom. Even if it is still jarring to hear different voices bringing the Merc With A Mouth to life. That is a whole different topic now, especially since the story also gives us another massive voice talent in the mix, and various other characters we are going to see in the game. Well, more than Deadpool is going to have to face off with in the game, if you take the story at face value. See, this one looks like it is pulling our mouth into a Mojo-verse to play out the various fantasies of the intergalactic TV host. Just in VR for us all for those who have the Meta Quest 3 or 3S before or after November 18th. I guess we all know what should be on our holiday lists now.
All of that aside, let’s see who Deadpool is going to be running into out there. It looks like we are going to have a bit of Omega Red, a dash of Lady Deathstrike, a sprinkle of Mephisto, and a dollop of Ultimo that will also be gunning for the top slot in this virtual gameshow. Wait a second… did we also get to see that Lady Deadpool will be in there too? I think we did. Now we get to speculate if it will just be Neil Patrick Harris doing a voice for that character, too. Although now that we see that John Leguizamo will be voicing Mojo, we might luck out and have a vastly different actress lend a voice to that character. Maybe even a few others to help pull in those who are on the fence about this title. Because we all know that when your gameplay is top-notch, you need to grab some amazing celebrities to voice it all. That or to help obfuscate the faults in the gameplay that is out there. I guess we will all know better in the coming months if they start to stack more voices on instead of showing off some epic gameplay.
Marvel’s Deadpool VR — Story
Dive face-first into Marvel’s Deadpool VR on November 18, 2025. Only on Meta Quest 3 and 3S.
Deadpool’s gonna be a star! The Merc with a Mouth just signed a brand new contract with Mojo, the biggest name in intergalactic streaming. There’s just one problem: he didn’t read the fine print. Because come on, who does that? Now, he’s off to “recruit” (aka kidnap) some of the toughest villains in the Marvel Universe. Face off against Marvel fan-favorites like Mephisto, Lady Deathstrike, Omega Red, and checks notes Ultimo, as he tries to fulfill his contract and make serious bank (while fighting for his life along the way). Blend parkour with a freeform combat system to take down foes with style and unlock Marvelous weapons, like the mighty Mojo-nir Hammer (aka Thundery Long Hair’s Mojo-ified hammer)! Get rich and die trying (again and again) to entertain Mojo’s massive audience.
Featuring Neil Patrick Harris as Deadpool and John Leguizamo as Mojo. A galactic audience is watching your every move, so try to have fun with it, ya know?
Are you excited to see that Deadpool is fighting off a bunch of other heroes and villains in the Mojo-verse? How many other heavy-hitters from the Marvel lines will we get as contestants in the mix? Could this all be a fever dream in his head instead of a real thing? How many more top talent will they cram into the game to make sure we all head out there and play it? Slide on down to the comment section to talk about all of this and other thoughts that slide into that brain. I am always hopeful to see more VR titles out there to push the hardware forward, so we will have more for Marvel’s Deadpool VR as it becomes available. Please keep up with us to see and hear all of it. Also, to make sure you know if this one is just going to be a voice talent the video game, more than an actual massive experience.
