A new look at Ferocious is here, and we get more of the dino-slaying, human hunting, and other bits of the Ferocious wild
Just a bit ahead of Gamescom this year, we all had a bit of a tease for Ferocious. This is the new dinosaur survival title that OMYOG and tinyBuild have been working on for the PC that will have us dealing with the horrors that all would entail. There is more to the story, but you can refer to the previous video for all the details. This new one that we have been blessed with, though, gives us all of the bloodthirsty gore and violence we have been waiting for when it comes to a game called Ferocious. Along with some great new looks at the world we will be surviving in, and some of the other things we will need to worry about. Like, maybe we are going to have to deal with sharks too…
In addition to what was mentioned above, we do have a bit of news on when we might be able to step into the world of Ferocious on the PC. Nothing to set in stone, currently, but it is now slated for a release this coming Winter. That could range anywhere from November 2025 to January 2026, before we all get too excited. I would like to think that they are going to shoot for a holiday release timeline, so we can put all of our new PC hardware to use, but the industry is always fickle. It could also be pushed out further, with how ambiguous the release timeline is, too. So, feel free to wishlist Ferocious now, and get reminded when it is ready. Ferocious — Gamescom 2025
tinyBuild, in collaboration with developer OMYOG, has unveiled a new trailer for Ferocious as part of GameStar’s Find Your Next Game showcase during gamescom, alongside the news that the bloodthirsty dinosaur FPS will release on Steam this winter. Ferocious walks on the wild side with wall-to-wall, unrelenting action!
- Survival Of The Fittest – If you want to survive, you’ll have to use every weapon you can get your hands on. Pistols, shotguns, rifles, knives, and spears make up only a fraction of your arsenal. It’s kill or be killed, so make sure you’re the last one standing!
- Face Off Against Dinosaurs, Shadowy Organizations & Other Horrors – Shoot your way through an army of mercenaries working for Manifesto, a mysterious organization with equally hidden motivations. Take aim at many fierce, ravenous dinosaurs waiting for the chance to rip your throat out. The island has a way of making your worst nightmares a reality.
- Fight Your Own Battles Or Have The Dinos Do Your Dirty Work – You can choose to dispatch brutal, bloody vengeance against the island’s many terrors yourself. Or you can control – er, ask – one of the dinos to take your foes out or even open unreachable doors for you!
Are you excited to see that Ferocious might be releasing very soon? Will we have to fight off sharks in the game, or will they just be signs of other predators in the area? How deadly will the machines and humans be in the game in comparison? Will there be an explanation as to why all of them look so odd when compared to what we all think dinosaurs do look like?
