Styx: Blades Of Greed Offers New Gameplay For Us All To Recover Out There

Styx: Blades Of Greed — Gameplay

See Styx in action again, with the first bit of gameplay for the upcoming Styx: Blades Of Greed out of Gamescom

One always has to love when new gameplay sneaks its way out to us, and who better to do that than a master of stealth with Styx: Blades Of Greed. The third main title in the line that Cyanide Studios is working on, and now we have a small taste of what might be changed up when Nacon brings the title to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this coming Fall. Not a whole lot of time between now and then, and there are still a bunch of questions still out there for this new Styx. So, let us shed some light on just how the game is going to flow, and then maybe see if we can see some of the newer gameplay options or mechanics that we are going to have in the mix. Things are about to get tasty.

Just as we are about to dive into what Styx: Blades Of Greed, it does look like the team is bringing back a good portion of what made the gameplay good in the first place. A lot of vertical environments and a lot of fun ways to be sneaky around the various towers we will be climbing up. The invisibility is back, as well as being able to summon other goblins to help out. All so we can sneak better and kill off the various guards and enemies as we make our way to the shiny Quartz at the end of it all. Not to mention, it does look like Styx will be offering up more of the fourth wall-breaking humor and other crudeness that was sprinkled in before. This time, though, it looks as if that is going to be a larger part of the game. Almost as if the developers heard what we all wanted and chose to give it all to us. Have a look and see if this is going to be the comeback you have been waiting for with this IP.

Styx: Blades Of Greed — Gameplay

Steel your nerves and sharpen your blades; Styx is back with a first look at pure, unfiltered gameplay of his new adventure, Styx: Blades Of Greed!

Step into the grimy boots of Styx, the world’s sneakiest goblin (self-proclaimed, but who’s arguing?) and lead your crew into the shadows of a crumbling empire.

  • Outsmart, outstab, and outsteal your enemies.
  • Explore 3 towering environments built for vertical stealth.
  • Chase Quartz, because power, war, and shiny things are always worth the risk.

This is more than a comeback; it’s a masterclass in stealth, greed, and goblin charm.

Because one goblin with a dagger can ruin anyone’s day.
