The final release date for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is finally set, with Bloodlines 2 launching very soon
By the gods… I, and many others, thought this day would never come, but here we are with the official release date for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. Yes, it is finally releasing, and this release date update is not to tell us that The Chinese Room is going to need more time. In fact, in just about two months from Gamescom, we will be able to head into the World Of Darkness with the game. Get your pre-orders ready, as Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 will be hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 21st. Yes, just about two months from now, and we will have yet another vampire title, and one that we have been waiting close to seven years to get. The night is about to set and we are getting a bit more for it.
So, now that we have the date, we can now look to see how and what we can get if we choose to pre-order Bloodlines 2 as of now. A risky move, given how things were handled for those who pre-ordered the first time around. I had many issues getting a refund, but this time, it looks like there are no physical items or crazy editions if things do go south. In fact, here we have two new versions of the game, on top of the core one, that will offer up cosmetics and some actual gameplay tweaks. The Deluxe Edition places a few more of the cosmetics inspired by the first Bloodlines title into the world. The Premium Edition will give you the same cosmetics, but also give us two more clans we can play with as Phyre in Bloodlines 2. The Lasombra and the Toreador. Hardcore fans of Vampire: The Masquerade will get a kick out of that, even if they are odd ones to add in. Especially after we hear that we are getting to play not only as Phyre in the game, but also as the Malkavian detective Fabien. All of these DLC bonuses will be available after launch for a price, if you do not want to pay up front. Sadly, this does look like it could be the case that new clans will incur extra costs as the lifecycle of the game carries onward.

Alongside the release date, the digital Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Deluxe Edition and Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Premium Edition were announced. Pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition and the Premium Edition are now available on Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.

- Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Premium Edition: Santa Monica Memories and Shadows & Silk, a content add-on that enables players to choose the Lasombra or Toreador clans for Phyre. Each clan offers unique abilities, playstyles, and distinct outfits. (Shadows & Silk can be purchased separately)
