New gameplay for REANIMAL is out there to build up more of the atmosphere the world of REANIMAL will offer
It is time to get a little unsettled out there, with a whole lot of new gameplay for REANIMAL. A game that still has some time to go, as it will be launching on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC in 2026. Not that Tarsier Studios and THQ Nordic have not been grinding away at it all to make it stand out there for us. It is coming on the backs of two other massive titles that look and feel the same as REANIMAL, so a bar has been set. A bar that we get to see how close they are to hitting now. As long as close to thirteen minutes of gameplay for it all will sate your hunger for what is on the way for the game. That and you enjoyed the first two Little Nightmares titles that the team has pumped out into the world before now…
If you were looking for anything vastly different for REANIMAL than what we have seen in the other games, then you will be waiting much longer. That is, the core gameplay of it all will have us playing as two different characters as we wander and stealth our way through the various creepy environments that we will have to explore out there. Not a terrible thing, but it does feel like REANIMAL could slide right into the Little Nightmares universe with next to no issues at all. Not a terrible thing, but that does mean that we are going to need to lean more on the story and the different worlds of it all to help it stand out. Thus, we are going to need to wait longer to see how this brother and sister duo will truly wander about the creepy world where everything seems to want them dead. They have each other, and maybe a few other side-characters too, but it is a whole lot of walking, running, and puzzle-solving going on in the mix of all of this.
