Gloomy Eyes — Release Date

The release date for Gloomy Eyes is now set, and we will be pulled into a new and creepy world of Gloomy Eyes very soon

Some new little horrors are on the way to get cozy with, as we finally have a release date for Gloomy Eyes. This would be that bleak fairy tale title that Fishing Cactus and Untold Tales have been cooking up for us all that has that look and feel of a Tim Burton film. Thankfully, Gloomy Eyes is going to be its own thing, so we do not have to worry about the basic formula of all of those others coming back to bite us. Only the zombies that will be walking the Earth in the game here when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC on September 12th. As long as you are on the market for a self-co-op puzzle title that has the look and feel we are about to see here. That is not always everyone’s jam out there.

Now that we have the release date for Gloomy Eyes, let us recap on just it is going to offer up when it does. Like the fact that we will be playing as Gloomy and Nena in the game. Gloomy, being a sweet little zombie brought back to life, and Nena, a human who is up to no good. They are both out to survive as well as bring the sun back to the world. Maybe this will help all of the other zombies out there, or allow the humans to thrive a bit more. Either way, that is the goal, and we will have to try to puzzle it all out in Gloomy Eyes. All with some of the brain-teasing puzzles out there, and some of the special abilities both of our characters will have. A little of the formula we have seen in these kinds of self-co-op titles that keep coming out. Even if it would be nice to have them all have the option to truly play co-op instead of just both characters as needed. Here is a look at the game for those who are only interested in that part, then you can get ready for another month to creep on by so you can actually play it all.

Have you been waiting to take a bite into Gloomy Eyes since it was first announced, or is this the first you have been seeing of the game so far? Do you like the look and feel of the world, or will it be too distracting given how the look has been soiled from the person it has been derived from? Would it be nice to have a true co-op option in the game, or will it do better if we are still playing it all solo instead? Take to the comment section down in the graves here, and discuss it all. We are amped to see if Gloomy Eyes blows the world away, so make sure to stick close to the site to see and hear all that we can find out there for it. It should be a great run of things leading up, and then, hopefully, the game will pull us all out of the ground and want to experience even more of it all down the line.
