Hellraiser fans can start to lose their minds with the announcement of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival clawing into our eyes soon
Another horror IP is getting a full game made for it as we have the announcement for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. A new title on the way from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games that will be diving into the pain and pleasure that the core IP has tried to offer up over so many films and other forms of media. We are talking eleven films and so many other aspects of pop culture that Hellraiser has bounced into, so why not video games? Before you get all worried like we have with the other IPs that have come out on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this one is not going to be an asymmetric title for once. We are getting a proper video game with the IP and such sights to see…
Now that we have that good bit of news, here is what else is known about Hellraiser: Revival, as there is not much to go on beyond the announcement. In the game, we will be playing as Aidan, whose girlfriend has been pulled into the hellish abyss, and he would like to save her. Good news for Aidan is that he has unlocked the dark powers of the Genesis Configuration and will have some form of power to fight back against the Cenobites and Pinhead during the travels. All in a first-person, action, survival horror style of game as well. To add in some extra fun for all of that, Pinhead will be voiced by the same person who brought him to life in so many outings for Hellraiser, with Doug Bradley offering up the talents after a long time away from the film side of it.
