Twisted Metal will be bringing more cars out to SDCC this year, with panels and a fun Twisted Metal bumper car experience
Just ahead of the second season for Twisted Metal, we are getting some extra fun out at SDCC 2025. It was pretty much expected at this point after Peacock put on a fun little showing just before the first season and then took it on a tour. For those who will be in the San Diego area for the massive convention, you will get treated to another fun slice of the Twisted Metal universe with a different spectacle. This is for those who have badges for SDCC and other bits for those who don’t have a badge. They are not trying to leave anyone out. Specifically, when it comes to driving some of the cars in a fun little bumper car battle experience to hype things further up ahead of the new season.
In a stroke of genius, this year at Comic-Con, Twisted Metal will be bringing us all a taste of the demolition derby with a themed bumper car experience as part of the off-site fun out there. All so we can hop in our favorite cars and bash into strangers in the mix of things for the new season. All events are free and open to the public in the area. Not too shabby if I do say so. A fun little event to keep us occupied until the other bits of Twisted Metal show up out there with a Sneak Peek panel and then an advance screening of the new season of the show too. The Sneak Peek is taking place on Thursday, July 24th with the cast and crew of the show. The Advance Screening is going down on Saturday, July 26th, and it will offer fans the chance to see the first two episodes before the show kicks off again on July 31st. The finer details and locations for all of these things can be seen a little lower down.

In addition to the bumper car experience, fans can expect epic photo ops, a display of some of the tournament cars featured in the series, surprise and delight moments, and pandemonium around every corner.

Are you excited for the new season of Twisted Metal to roll out there to us soon? Are you going to take a chance and try to hop into one of these bumper cars during the show? Will this be something that also goes on tour as they did with Sweet Tooth a few years ago? Is it odd that it looks like the first two episodes can be shown in under an hour for it all? Drive on down to the comment section to discuss it all with everyone. These Twisted Metal bumper cars and the show are on my list to check out this year. Keep an eye on the social channels and the various other places we have so you can get the updates and join in the fun as best as we can out there.
