You Will Not Want To Be Rejected From The Annual Fandom Party At SDCC This Year

Fandom Party — SDCC 2025

The annual SDCC Fandom Party is on with a big headliner announced to play this year’s SDCC Fandom Party

Get ready to party out at SDCC this year, as the annual Fandom Party is coming back and coming in strong for the year. Not only will the platform be out there covering all of the various IPs and fun we are all having out there, but they will be bringing some of them all together for one massive event. Something they have done for eight years now. Mixing all of the nerdy fun in one place and usually slamming us all with a massive musical event to close it all out. This year, the Fandom Party is coming in hot with The All-American Rejects bringing down the house for the big finale of it all. After we all take the time to take in the various other things that will be on display that night, too. The night being July 24th at 7 p.m. Now you know the basics, let us dig into the other things we can expect at this event.

If you have never been to a Fandom Party before, there could be a few good reasons for that. Not only is it normally an invite-only event that happens for most of those who can attend, but they also give out a small number of general passes to the public as well. Something that they are doing again, and will have details closer to the convention on how to get those tickets. It is a hot commodity too for all involved, so they do get snagged fast, as an FYI. This year’s Fandom Party will most likely be the same as they not only have the band above, but also are going to be showing off things for Code Vein II and a number of things from Universal Epic Universe, with both sponsoring the event. All of that, and this is also one of the big places at SDCC to see and mingle with many of your favorite celebrities from all over the place. Including some of the team here, if we are allowed back in after partying so hard with the people from Z2 Comics last year. Wild nights indeed, and here are the finer details to get you further amped up.

The All-American Rejects Set to Rock San Diego at the Annual Fandom Party at the Hard Rock Hotel on July 24

Can we let you in on our dirty little secret? The All-American Rejects — yes, THE chart-topping, sing-every-lyric beloved rock band — are headlining this year’s Fandom Party! And you know what that means: the countdown is on for Fandom’s return to San Diego! The world’s largest fan platform will once again host its highly anticipated event during the biggest fan convention of the year. The Fandom Party is sponsored by Universal Orlando Resort – who opened its fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe, in May – as well as Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. – the leading game publisher behind Elden Ring, PAC-MAN, and the upcoming action RPG Code Vein II. The eighth annual Fandom Party will take place at FLOAT at the Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday, July 24 from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

With chart-topping singles like “Gives You Hell,” “Dirty Little Secret,” and “Move Along,” The All-American Rejects have solidified their place as one of the most iconic bands of the 21st century. Selling over 10 million albums worldwide and amassing billions of global streams, the band has built a lasting legacy in the music industry. Their headlining performance will kick off the convention weekend in a major way, bringing together hundreds of fans, industry insiders, celebrities, and influencers for a night to remember.

The Fandom Party is THE must-attend event during convention week in San Diego, bringing fans a high-energy celebration at the intersection of pop culture, gaming, fantasy, music, and community. This year, attendees will enjoy an unforgettable night of curated and immersive fan-first experiences including:

  • Getting a glimpse into Universal Epic Universe, where attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy custom interactions featuring the five extraordinary worlds within the all-new theme park: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk – and Dark Universe.
  • Traverse across a post-apocalyptic world and transcend time to reshape the past in Code Vein II – step into this haunting universe with Bandai Namco’s photo op featuring a life-size replica of the in-game vehicle Motorcycle Forma.
  • We will also have custom activations from partners, including a themed scavenger hunt hosted by the beloved Santaverse character The Elf on the Shelf and Z2 that can all be experienced while those over 21 enjoy a drink from our official beverage sponsor, Mike’s Harder Lemonade.

Have you ever been able to go to one of the Fandom Party events over the years, or could this be the one that you luck out and get into? Will the draw of The All-America Rejects crash the servers for when the general tickets go online, or will they opt to go for a lottery system as they did last year to allow the select few in? Would we be some of those celebrities you would want to join in the mix, or did the epic tales of our Z2 Comics fun scare off all of the normal humans out there? Take those thoughts on down to the comment section and discuss them all until the tickets go live. We will be out at SDCC and covering everything we can leading up to the event, too. That includes the Fandom Party, if we are lucky enough again, so please stick to the site and our social accounts to keep up with all that we are able to offer you.
