The new release date for Killing Floor 3 is finally set and we can gear up this July for more of the Killing Floor
When it was delayed a few months ago, it was hard to figure out just when Killing Floor 3 was going to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It was vague back then and the beta tests Tripwire Interactive were having did not offer up much in the way of hints. Now, though, we are glad to say that we have a release date for Killing Floor 3 on all of those platforms. One that will be hitting firming in the Summer of 2025. A release date that will now have us all glued to our screens just a bit longer on July 24th. That is when we should all expect to see a final build for all of this and a little bit more. As long as you are willing to drop a little extra money for the game after all of this waiting. Let us see what else is coming now.
To continue on with all of the good news we have here for Killing Floor 3, it looks like those waiting to get the game but did not pre-order before the last delay, well, you can do all of that now. That is, you can head out there and pre-order any of the various bundles of the game you might have been keeping an eye on and make sure it will be live on day one for the launch. Granted, that could be a bit of an ask given how Killing Floor 3 was delayed last time to the point that they had to shut down the purchasing options, but maybe they learned the lesson to not open up well before they might be ready. That will be my guess, and maybe this will all lead to some kind of open server test for the game if you do pre-order. That is only speculation on my end, but we have seen other companies do the same in the past. Have a look at the full announcement and then get ready for the floor to open up in a few months.
Killing Floor 3 — Release Date
Tripwire Interactive announced that the highly anticipated next chapter in the studio’s legendary Killing Floor franchise, Killing Floor 3, will launch worldwide on July 24 for PC, the PlayStation 5 system, and the Xbox Series X|S console systems. Following a delay from the game’s original March 25 release date, the development team has been focused on using the additional time to address feedback from the player community. Since the delay, the studio has shared updates directly with fans showing progress in everything from design, artwork, UI, and animations. Additional development updates will be shared via the game’s official forums and social channels, further demonstrating the team’s commitment to evaluating player feedback and being transparent with their progress. Digital pre-orders for the Standard, Deluxe, and Elite Nightfall Editions have been reinstated and are currently live on the respective platform store pages.
Killing Floor 3 is the next installment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series. The year is 2091, 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2, and megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now, the only thing standing between these infernal creations and the future of humanity is the rebel rogue group known as Nightfall. This intense first-person shooter puts players in the role of a Nightfall specialist, joining forces with up to five teammates as they battle through a war-ravaged, dystopian future, surviving unrelenting waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.
Killing Floor 3 is currently in development and will launch on July 24 for PC, the PlayStation 5 system, and the Xbox Series X|S console systems.
