New reasons to play more S.T.A.L.K.E.R. are on the way for those who have the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends Of The Zone Trilogy out there

Those who need all of the extra fun in their lives from S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends Of The Zone, get ready to have things enhanced just a bit more out there. That is, we have a new Enhanced Edition of the game on the way to us all for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC from GSC Game World out there. Just one more way to play the iconic trilogy of games and one more way to entice you further into the world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if you have not been pulled in yet. Just know that it is coming on May 20th for those who are looking to get in or have been enjoying the trilogy of titles so far. There is going to be something for everyone with this, as long as you have the more modern systems out there to enjoy the IP on.

Those who already own the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends Of The Zone Trilogy will not need to do much to get these new enhancements, just download the update when it is time. Those who are looking to pick it up for the first time with this edition will be getting the original titles along with their purchase. A purchase that will grant these three titles for S.T.A.L.K.E.R., all of those 4K and higher framerate options out there. Along with the consoles getting a few things, the PC gamers have had for a while with these titles. That does include access to create and share Mods for the game and allows them to cross PC and console lines out there. A fun and new step to take with it all, indeed. GSC Game World is thrilled to announce that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends Of The Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition will launch on May 20, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The iconic trilogy, comprising Shadow Of Chernobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call Of Prypyat (2009), receives an overhaul with upgraded visuals, next-gen console optimizations, and expanded mod support.

Visual Upgrades (all platforms):

  • Enhanced lighting with godrays, screen space reflections, and global illumination for a more immersive atmosphere.
  • Upscaled textures and detailed 3D models for NPCs, weapons, and environments.
  • Advanced shaders for water and wetness effects, paired with upgraded skyboxes for a more dynamic world.
  • 4K pre-rendered cinematics for dramatic storytelling and improved weapon FOV for better combat visibility.

Console Enhancements and New Graphic Mods (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S):
