More of the Alien is on the way to us with the Evolved Edition of Alien: Rogue Incursion getting announced
Just in case Alien: Rogue Incursion might have been too scary for you in the VR setting it was released in, it looks like we all might have a new way to play it that could be a little less immersive. After making some great splashes with the game, it looks like Survios is going to be bringing the game to the flat screens out there for us to enjoy with the PS5 and PC. Interesting, those are the only platforms announced so far with this little slice of the Alien IP, but one I know I will be glad to see. That and everyone else who might have had to miss out on the game before, due to the hardware limitations. Now, we just have to wait until September 30th to experience the horror and see where the story goes.
In addition to this version of Alien: Rogue Incursion coming to a flat screen for us to enjoy, it will be coming with the full HD and 60fps visuals that most modern games can pull off. A slight downgrade from what would be needed for a great VR experience, but still solid for a more traditional title out there. It looks like this version will also be coming in two different forms, with a standard and a Digital Deluxe for us to head out and pre-order right now. The deluxe version of Alien: Rogue Incursion is dropping some extra cosmetics and an Art Book on top of giving us all the traditional game in the mix. Here is a little teaser for all of this, as we have to wait just a few more months until it launches out there. Maybe we will get another big showing before the launch and have all that to offer the world as well.
Alien: Rogue Incursion — Evolved Edition
FEAR HAS EVOLVED. Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition has been re-envisioned for PS5 & PC in full HD at 60fps. The Evolved Edition launches on PS5 & Steam September 30th, 2025!
When ex-Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks receives an SOS from former squadmate Benjamin Carver, she and Davis 01 head to the remote planet Purdan to investigate. Before they know it, deeply personal stakes emerge to plunge both Zula and Davis deeper into the dark heart of Purdan to expose – and escape – the deadly horrors lurking within.
Do you like all of the extra Alien fun we have been getting as of late, and are glad to see this one is becoming broadly available? Will it still be the same level of immersive outside of VR, or will it feel a bit tamer, pulled to the flat screen like this? Would you want to see a bigger and physical version of this game out there, or is this going to be good enough for you to enjoy for now? Sneak on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that we have for the game out there. We are going to certainly be covering more for Alien: Rogue Incursion as we head to the launch date, so please keep on checking back here for all of those updates and the many others we will have along the way. It is going to be one Hells of a spooky ride as we head to the end of the year…
