Star Wars Zero Company Takes A Turn To Give Us Some New Grit

Star Wars Zero Company — Announcement

Another Star Wars title is on the way to us all with the recent announcement we have here for Star Wars Zero Company

A new team is on the way to get things done with the latest announcement that we have here for Star Wars Zero Company. A new title in the works for the universe coming from Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment when all is said and done. This title will move us away from the usual high-action and fast-paced lightsaber swinging of the many other games out there and place us all into a fun new turn-based tactical game. Not everyone’s cup of blue milk, sure, but a nice change of pace while also offering up a look at more of the Star Wars universe than is usually put on display out there. As long as you are all willing to wait until 2026 to get the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Until then, we will have the usual stuff that makes the business mommies and daddies all of their money. For now, though, let us dig into what is on the way for us.

Those not fully up on their Star Wars lore, will find it fun to know that this title will be taking place in the twilight of the Clone Wars and will have us picking up the titular Zero Company who have been recruited to do what they do best. We will be stepping into the shoes of Hawks and then dictating the movements and tactics to the rest of our crew so we can head into the maps, clear them, and then get paid for doing so. All with a similar turn-based system that looks like other games like XCOM. We will move, find cover, attack, and then move again while trying not to be taken down in the process. At least that is the basics that we have been given with the announcement for Star Wars Zero Company and can see in the little bit of gameplay that came with that announcement. All of which you can see below as we wait for the game to be filled out a bit more and given a true gameplay showcase later in the year. Most likely right before the end of it, so we can gear up to have this little slice of the galaxy in our homes early in 2026. That is at least the hopes around here for now.

Star Wars Zero Company — Announcement

“There’s a war you don’t see. The one fought in the shadows. The war beneath the war.”

Command an elite squad through a gritty and authentic story set during the twilight of the Clone Wars in Star Wars Zero Company, a single-player turn-based tactics game developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games.

Step into the shoes of Hawks, a former Republic officer who leads Zero Company – an unconventional outfit of professionals for hire hailing from across the galaxy. Hawks and Zero Company are recruited for an operation that pits them against an emerging threat that will consume the galaxy if left unchecked. To succeed, Hawks will lead a team of uneasy allies who must set aside their differences to overcome nearly impossible odds.

Star Wars Zero Company launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.

Were you looking to get another turn-based Star Wars title out there or did you want this to be another lightsaber fighting title? How do you think things will get mixed up in the motion of the game, and will we get to do more than shoot and throw weapons? Will we get to have any hidden Jedi or Sith in our team or will they all be on the enemy side of our missions? Sneak on down to the comment section to let us have all of those thoughts out there while you are heading into the discussion. We are going to have much more for Star Wars Zero Company, we are sure, so please keep on checking in here for all of those updates and the many others still to come for all of the other video games out there. The year is still technically young, and there is so much more we can pump out there for all of our readers.
