New story details for Split Fiction are out there with Split Fiction diving further into character backgrounds
Now that Split Fiction is coming down to the wire on when we will be able to play it on our PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, let us get more of that story out there. Not that Hazelight Studios did not offer up a bunch of stories before now, but I am guessing that EA really wants us ready to pick it all up on March 6th. That is why we are digging a little further into the different reasons that Mio and Zoe have written their stories and we will need to survive them in Split Fiction. Even if it would be nice to have had all of this fed out as we were able to dig into the story for ourselves. But, I digress…
While the following video does have some spoilers in it for Split Fiction, they are not too massive and maybe not the big ones. Like the fact that The characters do not get along at first and over the course of explaining why they are writing the stories that they are, they will grow closer together. Being put in dangerous situations out there probably speeds all of that up too. Seeing as one is doing it for their sister and the other as a tribute to their father. Standard reasons that people write their epics in general. Hence why I do not think that this is spoiling much for Split Fiction even if it could have led to a deeper impact if it was shown and explained in the middle of all of the action of the game. Now that you have been warned, you can have a look at the official story trailer for the game just a little lower down the page.

Were you expecting anything different for Split Fiction or does all of this align with what you thought we might be getting? Would this have been a better narrative had we not been shown it before or was it something that we needed to know before hoping into the game? Will we learn other deeper secrets along the way or will these two lines be what we need to empathize for out there? Take those thoughts into the comment section and then feel free to discuss it all there. We are looking to have more for Split Fiction out there as we get closer to the launch, so please keep on checking back in for all of that and everything else that we have to offer up out there. It should still be one wild ride when all is said and done.
