Hard Reset Redux Brings The Over-The-Top Action To Us All Again

Hard Reset Redux — 10 Minutes Of Glorious 60FPS Mayhem!

Old FPS title Hard Reset is being brought back for us with Hard Reset Redux and is heading to PC and Consoles in a very fancy way

Put on your “way back” hats as we have another old title getting brought back to us in a much better light in terms of Hard Reset Redux. Maybe you’ve heard of it or maybe you haven’t but that doesn’t change the fact that Gambitious isn’t funding a nice new version of Flying Wild Hog‘s title from the past and bringing it right to us. In fact we can all see Hard Reset Redux hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC again here in short time as it is aiming to land on June 3rd. Talk about a quiet lead up and release for something that looks insanely intense.

For those who have heard of Hard Reset before here it is again in beautiful 1080p 60FPS resolution with all of the bells and whistles we can expect from it being remade or remastered. Thankfully though it looks like they chose to not try and tack on a multiplayer mode to the game with the remaster. Not that the original had one but a lot of games that get this treatment now are having multiplayer added on for some dumb reason or another. Looks like this is going to stay a solo play game for the betterment of us all.

Hard Reset Redux — 10 Minutes Of Glorious 60FPS Mayhem!

The world as we know it has ceased to exist. Surrounded by vast, hostile wastelands, the remnants of humankind’s dwindling population live within the closed city of Bezoar, but the walls have been breached. As a CLN soldier, you are all that stands between the hive mind machines of The Sanctuary and total extinction.

I will have to say that it looks like an interesting marriage between other titles like BioShock and Singularity here. I’ve never played Hard Reset before so that is the best I have to go on for now but I did love those titles and from the above gameplay I’d have to say it looks like it is going to deliver. If nothing else it looks like all of the amazing weapons in the game will lend to hours of fun blowing things up or electrocuting them all. That is always fun…

Have you played the game before and excited to see Hard Reset Redux bringing the remaster to us again? Did you miss out before and never heard of the game and excited to give it a go? Do you think that the lack of multiplayer will hurt it in today’s market or will keeping it classic make it that more enjoyable? Let us know and discuss in the comments. If there is more on Hard Reset Redux before or after launch you know we will have it here. Keep your browser locked in here just in case there is a lot more to share.
