Time For Some Good Old Violence Here In Street Fighter 6

Street Fighter 6 — Thea Trinidad Real-Time Commentary Feature

Street Fighter 6 is adding in another real-time commentator into the mix before the launch of Street Fighter 6

Things are constantly progressing for Street Fighter 6 and we have more in the way of how some of the real-time commentaries will flow when the game launches on June 2nd. This is the system that will have various personalities narrate our matches with Capcom adding in another big name into the mix. This time we are seeing Thea Trinidad (WWE Superstar Zelina Vega) to the list of voices we are going to hear out there. It pays to be a long-time fan of Street Fighter out there it seems. Now we get to hear how this will all build further into the game and get excited for it all to come to us on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. As long as you want to have the voice-overs to play in the game…

You can get a little bit of a tease of how it will sound in Street Fighter 6 just a bit lower, if you want to skip on down to that. I find it a little odd to have this going on during a fight when doing it with just friends or outside of any massive event out there, but I am not the target audience for this feature. Those that want the play-by-play for the matches from Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez, Ryutaro “Aru” Noda, Kosuke Hiraiwa, Steve “TastySteve” Scott, and now Thea Trinidad, will have some extra fun too. All in thirteen different languages for those that want it in their Street Fighter 6 but might not be an English speaker out there. Add in more excitement than anyone might be able to contain in the mix. Have a listen and see if this is going to be for you or not.

Street Fighter 6 — Thea Trinidad Real-Time Commentary Feature

Thea Trinidad, also known as WWE Superstar Zelina Vega, has climbed to the top rope and somersaulted directly into Street Fighter 6 as the newest addition to the in-game commentator roster. Thea, a longtime Street Fighter fan, brings her strength, style, and electrifying personality to the growing roster of illustrious color commentators in Street Fighter 6. She is a current WWE Superstar, self-proclaimed gamer, and no stranger to the Street Fighter franchise, even modeling her ring gear as Juri at the most recent WWE Royal Rumble in San Antonio, Texas.

The Street Fighter 6 Real-Time Commentary feature incorporates the voices of popular Fighting Game Community (FGC) commentators and personalities to narrate matches as they happen with easy-to-understand gameplay explanations. Recently announced play-by-play commentators include Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez, Ryutaro “Aru” Noda, Kosuke Hiraiwa, and Steve “TastySteve” Scott, with a tag team of color commentators including Thea Trinidad, H.E. Demon Kakka, and James “jchensor” Chen. This feature will support subtitles in 13 languages for increased accessibility and player excitement.

Street Fighter 6 represents the next evolution of the Street Fighter series with a combo of unique fighting game innovations across three brand new game modes — Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub — and will be ready to take on all contenders when it launches worldwide on June 2, 2023, across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

What are your thoughts on this feature for Street Fighter 6 and will you be excited to have various personalities talking over the matches? Does this fit better in other settings or could this be something even a casual fan will enjoy in the mix out there? Could we see many more voices added in or will that be future DLC to keep the game flowing after launch out there? Sound off in the comments about all of this and then feel free to discuss it all to whatever length you want. We will keep adding more for Street Fighter 6 here on the site, so please keep checking back in for all of those updates and many, many more.
