A new trailer for Someday You’ll Return takes us into the memories of the protagonist on his journey we will join on within Someday You’ll Return
Here we go with a new trailer to take in for Someday You’ll Return as we get ready to go down this dark psychological narrative from CBE Software. This may be the first time you are hearing of this title or it may not be. That does not change the fact that we have a new trailer to look at as our protagonist Daniel remembers things from his past to dive forward to try to find his missing daughter. It all sounds like a basic story we have played many times before, but Someday You’ll Return takes us to a different location that kids from the 80s may get excited for. A nice little summer camp filled with all of its own folktales just as we could assume.
On the basics, Someday You’ll Return looks to be a “walking simulator” of sorts but it does sound like it has some adventure elements mixed in. How exactly that is here is not truly shown off in this new trailer, but we can make some assumptions based on what we see here. Like being able to bash things and possibly defend yourself from the true evil roaming the grounds in Someday You’ll Return. While this is all gameplay footage, we do not get any true understanding besides movement in the game. Maybe I am missing something here in those terms. Nonetheless, it looks like a game right in my interests and now will need to keep a closer eye on it all.
Someday You’ll Return — Remembrance
Someday You’ll Return is a narrative-driven psychological horror game with strong adventure elements. You play Daniel, father of Stela, your runaway daughter. While trying to find her, you’re forced by events to return to a place that you swore never return to, the ancient Moravian forests. In the new Remembrance trailer, Daniel deals with events from his past.
While the story contains strong horror elements it’s not always the most obvious monsters which are the most frightening. While your survival skills and quick wits may advance your search, malevolent forces rise up against you keeping you and Stela apart. As your search leads deep into both the woods and your mind, it reveals secrets that should have stayed buried.
There are nightmares you can’t fight and win. Some of them… could be yours. Where are you, Stela?
What are your thoughts on Someday You’ll Return based on this and the latest trailer we have here? Does it look like more than a walking simulator or will it boil down to that in the longer run of it all? What other actions will we get to take in the game besides movement and the basics we see here? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When we have more for Someday You’ll Return to share and look at, we will add it all to the site here. All you need to do is keep checking in for all of that.
