The release date for Grime is set for this August and we have a bit more gameplay for Grime to take in
August is filling up with more video game releases and now we can add Grime to that list of title we will see on our PC during that month. If you are not sure what this game is, it is the latest coming from Clover Bite and Akupara Games that will take us on another action-adventure RPG experience. All with some interesting mutating weapons and other creatures in the world that will be trying to stop us along the way. You know, as they are always trying to do in these kinds of games with Grime diving in on it once more for us. All from a perspective that mostly seems to be a bit of a side-scroller in the way many others like it have gone recently. With the 2.9 style visuals instead of going 2D or fully 3D. Now we will get to experience it all on August 2nd with only a little more to wait.
In addition to this new date announcement, there is also the usual trailer we get for Grime too. It shows off a little more of the platforming and combat in the game, but offers up a little context to how it all will actually flow once we get our hands on the game. It looks like it will be the traditional style of things like with a Castlevania title, but it is a bit odd that it is not listed as a title in that “genre” as they normally are. Maybe it is due to the fact that we will be able to advance the character and weapons along the way to give us a few more toys to play with? That would be my guess. No matter the case, you can have a look at it in motion just below with the latest trailer that tells us when we can pick up Grime on Steam. If you are not looking to throw down the cash for it early already, that is.
Grime — Release Date
Grime is a fast and unforgiving action-adventure RPG in which you crush your foes with living weapons that mutate form and function, and then consume their remains with a black hole to strengthen your vessel as you break apart a world of anatomical horror and intrigue.
Developed by Clover Bite and published by Akupara Games, Grime lets you explore your surreal surroundings, absorb the many enemies you encounter, and use their own traits against them as you become more powerful. There’s more than one way to defeat enemies as you move through a variety of environments, meet their inhabitants, and discover the source of their madness. Grime also lets you upgrade the traits that best suit your playstyle as you encounter creatures dozens of times your size.
Grime will be released on August 2, 2021 on PC and Stadia.
Was this the title you have been waiting for to get that release date or is this the first time you are hearing any big news about Grime? Do you think it will play differently than explained here or is that an apt description from the footage we have had? Do you think we will get to see some truly new evolutions to the weapon in the game or will it always be some kind of deviation of something we already have played before? Give us that feedback and more down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more to share for Grime, know that we will have it all here. Just be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and everything else that might be coming along soon.
