The full release of The Blackout Club is upon us as an official release date is set for the end of July for The Blackout Club
The wait is almost over for those who did not want to jump in on The Blackout Club during its Beta and Early Access phases. As you guessed, we now have an official release date for the game as Question has placed down July 30th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC owners out there to get the full 1.0 version of it all. This may not be huge news to all that have been in on The Blackout Club since last year, but for those that have been titillated by the early gameplay and footage out there, now is the time to dive in on a pre-order or the Early Access for the platforms that offer it.
If you have been out of the loop on The Blackout Club, it is a co-op stealth game from some of the people behind Thief and BioShock 2. You and your friends are placed in a situation where you are out to find your missing friend and need to go through all kinds of horrors to find them. All because those pesky parents just do not understand what is going on in the town of Redcare. It sounds a lot like some of those classic 80s horror films, just that we will be in control of making the dumb mistakes in The Blackout Club. It is the gamer way when you look at it all.
The Blackout Club — Beta Gameplay With Developer Commentary
Question are excited to share that The Blackout Club will be officially launching July 30th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One! Fans on Steam can grab The Blackout Club now during the Summer Sale for 20% discount before launch.
Poised to offer one of the most unique co-op experiences of 2019, The Blackout Club takes Question’s stealth history (Thief, BioShock 2) and mixes it into a cooperative environment where players are limited in their tools of survival. Built on months of Early Access feedback, The Blackout Club launches into 1.0 with loads of new content for current fans and an exciting new experience for those who have been waiting for the final release.
In The Blackout Club, your friend has gone missing. Something is amiss in the town of Redacre and the adults aren’t listening. What lies under the streets of Redacre? It’s up to you to find out.
The boogeyman, known as Angel, looks over Redacre. All-seeing as the adults report the sins of the youth trying to unveil the cultist activities happening in the town. Those committing the most faults are hunted by this entity, which is only visible when you close your eyes. Players must work together to help save their missing friend and uncover the truth about what is happening under the surface of this sleepy town.
Those who’ve experienced The Blackout Club have reported personalized messages being sent from the Angel and weird dreams where other players have shared their nightmares with one another. Are these messages alluding to something bigger?
Will you finally be making the plunge into The Blackout Club or have you been in the middle of it all since the early stages? Do you think this concept is going to work long term or will it be a nice break this Summer for those who need it before other titles hit? Can you see the parallels I was drawing above or would you like it further detailed out as IT? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. We are keeping watch on The Blackout Club and will update you all as soon as we know more. Be sure to keep checking back for all of that and more.
