More gameplay for Outriders is out there with a new focus on the various gameplay elements we will need to master to survive Outriders
There should already be quite a bit of understanding for Outriders and what we are going to have to go through to better survive the game. Most out there should have had a good chance to give the demo a play and can get ready to experience it all before April 1st here. If you are not or do not have all of the time, though, it does look like People Can Fly are looking to help out once more by giving us the mantras to live by in Outriders so we do not just keep dying and needing to repeat the areas until the end of time. That is, we have a listing of the key elements we need to pay attention to in the game here so we can go in with our weapons hot and lives secured from the launch.
Given that Outriders is not a true cover-based shooter and that healing will be tied to us scoring kills in the game, it does seem like a no-brainer to think going in slow and with cover would be a bad idea. That’s two of the mantras down. Then there is the one that will ask us to keep using our supernatural abilities along the way too so we can clear the field a bit faster. Also a simple one to remember. Especially when you see that the last big one for Outriders is that we need to be aggressive more often than not. I do not think I know a single player out there that will look at this title and not go that way, but it needed to be said here. I am sure that many of us had that down from the demo out there but maybe we needed one more solid reminder before the launch of it all.
Outriders — Mantras Of Survival
Planning on surviving the savage future of Outriders? Better follow the mantras:
- Cover is for Cowards.
- Powers on Tap.
- Kill to Heal.
- Think Aggressive.
Outriders is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet.
Did you need this reminder for Outriders or did it all seem like things we should know for now? Did you plan on going into the game using cover and trying to sneak about the maps or was it always guns-a-blazing? Have you had a chance to experience the demo for this yet or has it been left on the sidelines to be able to go in as fresh as possible? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you wish. If there is more for Outriders, we will certainly have it all here for you. Please keep checking back in for all of that and much more.
