Oh The Places We’ll Go In Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided — Rio

A new look at all of the cities for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided have come out as well as just how to pronounce Deus Ex correctly

We are a mere few weeks out from the launch of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and the news and updates still keep flowing out here. Granted one of the updates we have here are some great views of the game’s world and the other is a fun video put together but Eidos-Montréal more than anything. It would seem about right that we are hitting this stride for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided given August 23rd not being too far away but none the less we have more to look at to get us all prepped for the game. I don’t think Square Enix can over-hype this one enough given how amazing the first title was in the “reboot” series.

First up we have a nice long look at the places of the world that have had a makeover in the Deus Ex world. Also some of the locations that we will be joining Jensen on when he goes out to solve the problems of the world yet again. We have to love that hero story here. Anyways, as you could assume, we have some very iconic places in the world that have been given the cyber-punk makeover and made to fit just where the world is in the game. All of which still working with or against the events that took place two years ago in the story line. Some embrace way more than others here in the images.

Square Enix® and Eidos-Montréal revealed how they imagined some of the major cities around the globe looking in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’s interpretation of the year 2029. In addition to Prague, one of the locations in the game, the Eidos-Montréal team of artists shared their vision of what Barcelona, Berlin, Blackpool, Cologne, London, Moscow, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Stockholm and Sydney would look like 2 years after the “Aug Incident”, the event within the previous entry in the series, Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Next up, and this is more of the fun thing for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, we have a new video on just how to say the title of the game. Not only that but a little bit of a history lesson to learn just what the title of the game means. Anyone with basic internet connectivity could have done this from day one but of course the team here had to go above and beyond. If you don’t want to do the search on your own, then feel free to have a look just below and learn. As I’ve said, there isn’t much more here outside of the team having fun as we lead to the launch but I personally enjoyed it all even though I already knew the title’s history.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided — What’s In A Name?

What are your thoughts on what we have here for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided before launch again?
